Apple bonsai

This Malus is an ornamental crab apple, the same species behind our other Apple bonsai listings, grown for its full seasonal cycle: soft spring blossom, fresh green summer leaves, and small fruit later in the year.

It's close in size to our Bonsai of Apple (Malus): around 36 cm tall excluding the pot, 42 cm wide, with an 18 cm trunk. These measurements are approximate, taken by comparison with that piece rather than remeasured individually.

Heritage and appeal

Apple is one of the oldest cultivated trees, and as a bonsai it keeps that familiar, homely character, a small tree that carries blossom, leaf and fruit through the year.
