Over fifteen years ago, I picked up my first tree and immediately understood that bonsai is not gardening — it is sculpture that breathes. Every branch placement, every line, every negative space is a decision. That realisation never left me, and it is what WeBonsai is built on.

I'm based in Calabria, in the deep south of Italy, where I run my own nursery surrounded by Mediterranean light and the slow seasons that bonsai demand. Over 20 years of practice, I've travelled to Japan to source trees directly — not from wholesalers, but from the growers and masters who shape them over years. Each tree I bring back is chosen by hand for structure, age, and character. If it doesn't move me, it doesn't come home.

WeBonsai ships across Europe, and packaging is something I take personally. A bonsai is not a product — it is a living artwork. Every tree leaves Calabria secured in a way that protects its branches and roots through the journey, because arriving in perfect condition is not optional.
