Have you ever dreamed of creating your own bonsai masterpiece? Join us for an engaging, hands-on workshop where you will learn the essential techniques to start your own bonsai tree. Perfect for beginners and seasoned enthusiasts alike, our workshops cover everything from basic pruning to advanced styling techniques.
Under the expert guidance of multi-award-winning bonsai teacher Roberto Liccardo, you’ll gain valuable skills in tree selection, wiring, shaping, and maintenance. The workshop also delves into the Japanese philosophy behind bonsai, helping you connect with the deeper meaning and patience required to master this living art form.
Beyond the practical learning, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy a peaceful environment, surrounded by fellow bonsai enthusiasts, as you work on your creation. Take home your very own bonsai tree, a living reflection of your experience.
Accomodation
Relax in a private apartment with stunning views of both the garden and the lake. Each apartment offers a serene and comfortable environment, perfect for unwinding after a day of bonsai training.

The WeBonsai villa is located just 5 minutes from the city center and 10 minutes from the beach, providing the ideal balance of tranquility and convenience.
Our Program (individual classes)
- Explore our beautiful Bonsai garden with an introduction to the history and techniques of bonsai
- In-depth, hands-on training across three days to create and refine your bonsai
- Expert guidance on soil selection, fertilizers, and tools for long-term care of your bonsai
- Take home your very own bonsai tree crafted during the workshop (due to international regulation, only if you live in Europe).
Includes:
- Pick-up from the train station (Lamezia Terme station) for easy access
- Accommodation in an Italian villa that is 5 minutes drive from the city center, 10 minutes drive to the beach. Full view of the garden and the lake with private access and bathroom
- All materials (bonsai tree, soil, tools)
- All meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner)
- Excursion to the Sila National Park to see pine trees in their natural environment.
